Frequently Asked Questions
-
Are One Snowboarding camps for me and which camp do I want?
One Snowboarding is a unique variety of snowboard camps, ranging from social public weeks to intense invite only training weeks.
Our Development camps are strictly invite only, available to riders that have been identified as the UK’s most talented freestyle snowboarders who wish to push their riding to the next level. British Olympian Dan Wakeham will be implementing a unique programme written by British Freestyle Snowboard Team Head Coach, Hamish McKnight, athletes will train in Halfpipe, Big Air and Slopestyle with a view to attain a place on the future British Freestyle Snowboard Team. The week will include extensive use of video analysis, mental rehearsal techniques, goal setting, and biomechanics.
For those who do not want such a vigorous training schedule and would rather an extremely fun and luxurious week away with like minded people, then the Public camp is for you; a social week, where riders of all levels are free to push their snowboarding as far as their imaginations will allow. With the fine caliber, which makes up the One Snowboarding Team, days on the hill will not only be fun filled, but offer the encouragement needed to help push your snowboarding to next level.
